Default Enter Their Imagination And Generate A Response

Putting audio on your web site is not a new thing. Web sites and browsers have had this ability for a few years now. The problem was to have the know-how and the software to create it and in some cases, an expensive server to host it. Not to mention special plug ins or programs that you needed to download in order to hear it.

Recently however, there are several products that allow you to tackle this technology without much fuss.

You can now choose a solution that easily matches your computer skills.

Streaming audio on your web site can be used for product or service testimonials, to describe something that you have to offer in more detail, to deliver a message to a lot of people in a short amount of time.. such as a CEO's message to corporate shareholders or you can easily create a short radio program of your own and interview interesting people and sell products through it on the back end. (And this is just the tip of the iceberg)

Most importantly, audio on your web site can be used to generate trust and to get customers to respond to you in ways that a silent web site could never do.

Audio testimonials and product descriptions are fine and they have their place.. but to get through the wall of advertising people are subjected to each day requires you to go beyond the standard fare that is available.

Grab their imagination.. Let them create their own stage and characters in their mind from what they are listening to and then you have an ember that can be turned into a roaring fire.. and, get a response. Your message no longer resembles the background noise that surrounds us from the time we awake to the time we retire for the night.

So, if you are going to put audio on your web site.. don't do it because you can. Instead, put some thought into it to see how you can tap into the imagination of your listener. Audio and imagination, you will find it to be an effective combination.
