FIRST Golden Rule PRE-TEST Before You Endorse Someone

With Endorsement you HOPE for the BEST
but PLAN for the Worst.
This means:
The Person You are Recommending to a 3rd party must
be HONEST.
The 3rd Party You are ENDORSING and Sending people to
must be HONEST.
There are TERRIBLE CONSEQUENCES if you don't Double Check
each party is a GOLDEN RULER Before you ENDORSE a person or a product
or service.
A - I helped a client - at a Major Baby Bell - get her female
boss fired. We Analyzed her bosses Handwriting. Found a dozen HELL
Traits in her personality. (Made up a story for Personnel. They were horrified when they checked her FAKE references.)
The woman had been ENDORSED by a competing company. Turns out they
wanted to GET RID of her for theft. But could Not afford bad publicity.
B - Early in my Marketing Career I Got Endorse/Referred to a Client in Idaho.
We Wrote a Letter that increased their s*ales by more than 800%. It pulled
111% Response. (Some prospects had more than 1 project in mind.)
Our Client SUED US!
I file and save all Client Correspondence. And in one email the owner had said,
"Thanks to your s*ales letter we have made 98,000.00 Extra this month."
We sent this Note back - in An Envelope and with a cover letter from an
attorney friend.
Result? BLESSED SILENCE.
C - I Belong to a Neighborhood Network. Amazing how many folks want
suggestions on WHO TO CALL for Plumbing, yard work and all kinds of odd jobs.
I've Endorsed Several Service people who did a good
job for me.
AND got quite a few emails WANTING to do work for ME
from -do-It-Yourselfers-.
I Simply ask, "Send me the name and # of someone you did work for
that LIKES you that I can call BEFORE I hire or endorse you to others."
NEVER HEARD from ANY of Them AGAIN!

ACTION SUMMARY -
So Your First Step BEFORE You ENDORSE Anyone
is to ASK both parties the SAME QUESTION...
"Can You Please Give me the name and #
of at Least ONE Person who LIKES You after doing business with you?"
You
will
be
SHOCKED by
the # of people
who CANNOT or WILL NOT do this.
Meaning they do not know ONE HAPPY CUSTOMER!
And you will SAVE A BUNDLE.
