My grandfather and the old Dairy Farmer had the same kind of Thick
and Curved - Heavy scythe handles hanging on their shed or barn walls.
I recently learned this is the "American Version."
The European type of snath is much lighter and only slightly curved or
straight.
In fact.
A large # of YouTube Videos feature women in Long dresses cutting
fields of hay.
Proof this isn't a brute force game.
