Would be interesting to actually hear or read what Halbert actually said, even though we know his stuff.

Sure, and you are right in asking the Halberts (Bond and Kevin) in their Facebook group about all of his old stuff.

It was, as I remember, a pitch for ongoing services, and I think that is what you want to do. Sell local businesses on an ongoing retainer for marketing services???? Just guessing.

My opinion is, Jay Abraham is a better source than Halbert, he did tons more consulting along this line, and Glenn Osborn is our resident expert on Jay Ab.

So maybe he might have some of that gold buried away.

And a side not, based on my own experience.

About 16 years ago I offered a 12 week course in speed copywriting, and I spent a lot of time looking for an ad, and I couldn't recall if it was Mel Martin or Gene Schwartz, but I felt it contained some "key" verbiage that I could use...and once I found it, it wasn't what I thought it was.

It was, for me, another form of procrastination/pefectionism, when I all I really had to do was just get it out there and offer it, and tweak as it went along. Point being, maybe the old ad will help you, but don't let it delay you from making your offer, you ( like me) ain't gettin any younger, eh?

Jay Abraham specialized in these whereas Gary was more of a quick money grab in between gigs. I'm sure the brothers Halbert in their archives, not sure how much it might cost you, but Gary is worth the price for sure.

P.S. I mean it was for people like you, who wanted to get into the help the business get more customers, but I could be wrong on that one.
