YES, expired patents can be valuable. However, there may be a reason why you'll see these "MAJOR" companies and players letting them go.
The IDEAL situation as Harvey Brody explains it is: look for items taken to the marketplace, but flounder...due to lack of marketing knowledge or lack of shelf space.
He calls it the Momma and Poppa types (in his document)...and there isn't enough time in anyone's day to explore all the possibilities out there.
So the answer is a qualified YEA, but a better answer would be "l
ook for products fully developed and
under marketed". That's one of the KEY Toll Position strategies Mr. Brody advocates.
