However, that's not the official Rand Paul site. The official site is at
www.randpaul.com
The auction hasn't gone very high so far - just $5 as of this writing - probably because he hasn't "monetized" the site in any way... But you can see the potential...
A better way might be to jump on a specific "cause" which will outlast the primaries...
