I think I got the same feeling you may have. Gordon's " end of discussion " kinda put me off. I don't post here much, but I come by at least weekly and catch up.
That post kinda made me feel like a line was just drawn and if we crossed it,there would be consequences. I didn't like the feeling.

The fact is, I don't make money from this forum. I make a lot more via other methods... It's here as a service, if people use it, great. If not, that's a shame, but it's okay too...
Right now, I'm busy with one of my "side projects"... I'm co-organizing a commercial film screening, which will be on in one week! (This is just a "for fun" project, though we don't expect to make a loss, and it will hopefully build an audience through subsequent screenings and be more profitable as time goes by...) I'm actually meeting with one of the reps of one of the companies that holds various screening rights today... Plus a lot of other stuff in the background... I'm gathering up "toll positions" in the background, too, there are so many opportunities... It's taken me years to get to this position, but there are so many available "toll positions" around that people don't see, and choose to "struggle" instead...!
Okay, I'm on a rant... I checked out the top 10 richest Americans lately. All of them made money from "toll positions"...
Come to think about it, I might post about that separately...
