That's one thing, I think, which attracted me to your writings!

By the way, I've lately been writing cold emails (to sell a product)... I've never done cold emails before to make sales...

(I've written cold emails to make contacts and business partners... but not to make sales...)

Cold emails are where you email people who have never heard of you before.

It's quite different from emailing your own email list, as those people are already "warm" and know you and presumably like your stuff already...

Also I'm not emailing consumers, but businesses... Each email is personalized, they are emailed to each person (usually the business owner) one-by-one, not en masse. (It's not spam.)

Anyway, I think I'm starting to make progress. But it's quite different from anything I've done before...

(And I have done cold calling in the past - which is different again...)

Just thought I'd share... There are a lot of different "angles" in this game of making sales...

Best wishes,

Dien

Angles, nuances, potAto...potato. YES, BUT...

I guarantee every single person who receives your COLD email, is PREOCCUPIED at the time it arrives.

You saw some of my library, which was nothing compared to before the great flood, but I had hundreds of books and courses on selling.

From every different angle out there.

And even today, the little NUANCES (angles) used continue to make selling and salesmanship a perennial evergreen marketplace.

YET, in those hundreds and maybe thousands of tomes, when one includes the books on psychology, persuasion, and influence...I can think of maybe 3 that specifically address the idea of PREOCCPATIONAL INTERRUPTERS, and none are as complete as what I have.

Just saying, try writing your next series after you have your TARGET in the bubble and you have gotten inside and see if your emails get opened and read a little more than now.

A slight increase in readership, can often be a big boost in RESULTS.

What is on their minds when your email arrives?

Gordon

PS. As for my style, it was far more traditional when writing for others, this I DON'T CARE attitude came after I started offering my own stuff and had a sufficient following for my goals. Today, there are a few of the copywriting teachers who will allude to it, but if you are not established don't try it...

or do, I don't care. HA!
