I agree, that's why I tried to avoid selling on eBay for the chattels, because of the long wait time with paypal.

Right now I source from Craigslist and various auctions and thrift stores, and use eBay for the occasional price check.

As for examples of ads source, I've looked at the weekly newspaper, which has little amount of buy sell trade, Facebook groups for specific things like bikes (still out of my price range), backpages site, and craigslist.
