Default Is that what it was... audio? I didn't know because

I have my browser set to Ask Permission before launching anything that requires Active X plug ins. The post asked me - never been asked about something from a post before - and I clicked NO.

No Audio.

No Shockwave/Flash.

No Automatic PDF.

No Quicktime.

And if, after clicking NO, nothing displays, I go on my merry way - thinking, "here's another webdesigner who is isolating people from their website for the sake of useless tricks that don't really add anything."

We don't all have cable modems or whatever the new fang-dangled thing is these days.

The net is an interactive medium. People LIKE and WANT to control their experience. And the best way to allow that is by using links which give choice... binary matrix even, right Gordon?

And...

I seem to have gone off again. (Now if only there was a way to stop applets from loading.)
