Default Re: Amazon Postage Strategy for Tom

I appreciate the info. I will look at those items the next time I buy a book off Amazon. So Amazon doesn't care what the actual shipping figure is, they just want to be sure the number the mechant gives them is the same number that is charged to the customer? A long question but I didn't know how else to ask it.

Have a great day,

Tom

The 1 cent upfront cost is a sneaky way of getting your ATTENTION.

The actual book rate of shipping the book is less than 3.99 (The seller just Transferred the actual FEE for the book into the postage category)

Amazon doesn't care except for the final shipping figure.

To find out HOW MUCH...

Look at some of the competing - and less marketing savvy folks
selling the same book for 1.00 or 3.50 plus postage.
