Default Dazed and confused, the punch in the face to habitual routine.

In 7 Steps to IP, I wrote:

Many people, in fact I’ll dare to say MOST, live in an almost hypnotic state of habitual routine.

And it is this HABITUAL ROUTINE of people, once
understood, is going to allow you to quickly profit.

Now I wrote that over a decade ago. And in the last few months, many a person's HABITUAL ROUTINE has been knocked over on it's ****. This has left more than one of us in what the philosopher Mike Tyson would say, "off plan".
(He once said every boxer has a fight plan, and then they get hit in the face and the plan goes out of the ring. {or something like this} ).

Millions of workers have had to adjust their routines. This has created anxiety in many, frustration and in some, joy and delight cause their routines sucked.

I will still hold to the HYPNOTIC state part, but it has several nuances, depending on how much media you consume (hint, the lesser the better).

I was talking to a blue jay the other day, asking how Covid Crisis has effected him, and all he did was look at me and took the peanut I tossed toward him, and flew a few feet away to bury it. So, being ignored, I asked the squirrel about it. I like to toss the peanut between them, see which one is going to go after it, sort of provoking them.

Anyhow, I got ignored again, Sammy the Squirrel standing up and just looking at me, as if to say, "where's mine you SOB?"

Point being, my garden, wild birds and animals, seem to be oblivious to our crisis. Cockroaches are getting excited, knowing they'll be around in the event of anything, even if earth explodes, they'll find a way to survive.

Some friends seem to be in the same state of oblivion, while others have entered entirely new worlds which has them on edge.

The ones who are doing well have CERTAINTY on their side, while the ones struggling, are uncertain about tomorrow.

For example, one guy, growing herbs and spices is CERTAIN people are going to keep eating. And he is going to continue to supply what they demand from him, freshest herbs and spices, even recently dried ones.

Another one, a small neighborhood pub owner, is putting the joint up for sale, even though I guaranteed that people will continue to drink alcohol, no matter what. But if he can't get them in the door, all the thirst in the world isn't going to help him. We're working on some work arounds, we'll see.

I have no idea about you, if your HABITUAL ROUTINE has been knocked off kilter, or if you've had to adjust to new routines, but I do know this...

when you focus on the CERTAINTY of humans, and their needs and wants, and have a supply for whatever that demand will be, you will be able to weather any storms that come your way.

What do you think?
