Default Green Is The New Black

Sandi

I sniped an old fashion saying to point out Green appeas to be the New It for 08 but it also means whatever you do you've should think about linking it to being hip.

I think that's one of the better ways let Green make green for you in 2008.

What things that you make Green that people wouldn't think about as being Greenable?

Just some thoughts off top of head have no reason these will work but just to crank the wheel of fortune a bit here goes....

Phone cords can they some how become biodegradable? Eatable? Dogs love to naw on them so instead of throwing them away when they need to be replaced you can just give to your dog as a treat.

Mini Landfills...

You know don't dispose of cellphone batteries at landfills well because no soccer mom wants to be caught dead driving the Beemer to an ugly filthy landfill so old batteries get dropped into the regular trash, out of sight out of mind.

Now it's hard to change people's behavior but maybe you can tweak it especially if it makes them cool.

Introducing the mini Bling Landfill. You know how Bling covers help to personalize your mundane looking cellphone why not pimp out your garbage that can be used to throw away your cellphone in the REGULAR trash.

First, whoever thought of pimping out your trash bags!

So you've got a marketing edge with the unusual.

Second it becomes cool to be Green.

Third, yes technically the batteries aren't going to the landfill but you are making such items more easily identifiable to landfill workers so in theory these items can be pulled out of trash in greater quantity because they can find better among the other trash.

Anyway just an exercise down a path that might work for you.
