Default Re: "I have no competition". Truer today than ever.

Yes, I still preach and practice that philosophy, but now for some BAD news.

The bad news is, so what? As you mention, there is a key, and you have half of it right. Knowing what is unique and one of a kind about yourself.

That is pretty easy with some self analysis, introspection and a look at your work history. The hard part is

APPLYING your uniqueness

in the marketplace. How do you incorporate that in your business?

I'll get into that a bit later, but thank you Dien Rice, you are unique and have no competition. With this caveat...

in business...we all are competing for a prospect's ATTENTION, and are simply one of many choices they have as to where to spend their money.

Your uniqueness in your business has to be such that when they come across you, it becomes a no-brainer for doing business with you.

HOW?

Later, maybe others can pipe up for now.

PS. Just got a new video camera, figuring out how to use it and soon, very soon, I too will be Zooming around town, the Internet and "to infinity and beyond" (as Buzz Lightyear might utter).

That principle is -

"I have no competition."

As I understand it, the fundamental bottom line is...

You are a unique person.
A unique personality...
Unique interests...
Unique knowledge...
Unique skills...
Unique way of expressing yourself...

Nobody can be you like you!

And you bring that to any business you start...

That's why you have no competition!

The key... trying to think it through...

is to identify what parts (or combination of parts) of YOU are unique...
and how you can use them positively...

Those are my thoughts on this...

Anyone agree?
Disagree?
Would like to expand on it?
Or would like to say... "Dien, you're full of hooey?" (Now's your opportunity!)

Best wishes,

Dien
