Default Product Idea - feasibility???

Hi
I am new to this board, by about 2 weeks, referred from Taylor Trumps Board, Its quite informative, keep it up, if you do not mind

What do you think about:

Having a piece of software that will allow someone, to email a specific target market ezine publisher, their Ezine Article that they have written.

The software will not show email addresses, but specific target markets such as marketing, promotion, search engines, etc etc.
And people will only be allowed to submit to 2 target markets at once, so Spam is not an issue.

The database will not be sold onto anyone.

So my question to you is,
Do you think this would be a feasible product that ezine article writers will want to gain a bigger coverage.??

What would be the best price to Charge for this service??

Default Re: Product Idea - feasibility???

Hi Darren,

Let me give you my honest opinion....

Darren, I believe you should think deeply... Is your software WIN/WIN/WIN ?

Who wins?

Who are the people here....

There's YOU. Of course, you want to WIN. You win by not only making a profit, but also by building your reputation as someone people want to do business with.

There's your CUSTOMER. People who use your software. Will they get results by using it? Your customer will only get results if the ezines respond to email they send en masse through your software.

Finally, there are the EZINES themselves. They are part of this -- whether they like it or not. Do they WIN too? I think you need to consider them as well.

Here's one reason why. If the EZINES don't win, then your customers contacting the ezines don't win too, because the ezines will want nothing to do with them.

And if your customers don't win, in the long term you don't win either, because your customers will leave you.

WIN/WIN/WIN. Also, think long-term. You don't just want someone to buy your product ONCE. You want them to come back again and again and again, to see what else you have to offer.

You want them to WANT to keep doing business with you.

Have you heard that the profits are in the "back end"?

Well... the "back end" is just a secret code for "repeat customers." (Well, it's more than that -- but customers who are buying from you more than once are a critical part of it.)

Remember that.

LONG-TERM customers are even better.

Think WIN/WIN/WIN.... Does everyone win? That's what you should be thinking about.

If everyone wins, then YOU are a winner too! If everyone doesn't WIN -- well, think harder, because you can do better.

It's not only ethical -- it's smart too.

Hope that helps. :)
