Re: Well... No Real Magic There.
Hi Jeremy,

And yet some, who ask for > advice and help, when they get assistance > they act very appreciative. And yet, when > THEY are asked for help they don't lift a > finger to help others. Why is this? Is it > just fear? Naturally, I think it's great when people share their experience and advice.... However, nobody is forced to. Often people who share information are selling a similar product to what they are talking about.... Which is fine, because it's win/win.... Forum readers win from the information they share here, and they also win since they will sell more copies of their products too. I see Sowpub as a kind of "Mastermind group" - that is, a group of people who get together to share ideas and experiences to help each other succeed. I've purposely tried to steer Sowpub discussions to high quality topics - I prefer "quality" over "quantity". That way, we can succeed together.... I hope that those who do receive value from the discussions here will also give back as well, just as others have helped them, it's also good to do the same, and give others a helping hand too. :) However, it has to come from your own sense of wanting to help others, which is a great sentiment. Thanks, Dien Rice |
