Are You Refering To Me...
Jeremy?
If so... it wasn't for lack of me wanting to share to a point! It's more due to the lack of time I've had lately. I've barely had 2 or 3 minutes a day to even scan my favorite boards. But here is what we use when we call, it's basically a variation of Mike Rodman's "take away" opening. *** Hello Mr. Owner, My name is Joe with eClub Rewards, and we've developed a simple and affordable way for businesses like yours to create and maintain an email database of your customers that gives you the ability to market to that list for a fraction of the cost of direct mail. Now... I'm not sure if you would even qualify for our program... but what I'd like to do if you are interested is to schedule a time where we can sit down for no more than 10 minutes in order to find out more about your business... and to determine if in fact you could benefit from our services. Fair enough? **** That's basically it. It's probably not even very good (by a PRO'S standards)but it's working. Now... I HOPE you were not refering to me when you stated that some take but don't give. Because that's not completely true. But YES! I do prefer to give some of my secrets and strategies behind closed doors. I took an idea (Don's), put thought and work into it. Then found Jim E's course and bought it. Then more thought and work. Then found Gordon's get off your ass and do something course. Bought it. More thought and work, then finally some action. And here I am. But I'm not going to give every piece of the puzzle I've worked hard for away here on the forum. You can get the same info I got from the above places. That should be more than enough for those who really want it. So I'll give to a point. Ask Debbie, or John Henry Carlson, who politely emailed me privately. I shared much with them. But I am not hip to giving away the farm I've worked so hard for over the last years. And remember I don't have a product I'm trying to sell you guys either. Just food for thought. Joe Delbecq > I have noticed that some people in this > forum give freely of their knowledge and > experience (like Don Alm, Dien Rice, and > Gordon Alexander). And yet some, who ask for > advice and help, when they get assistance > they act very appreciative. And yet, when > THEY are asked for help they don't lift a > finger to help others. Why is this? Is it > just fear? |
