Default How to read minds for increased profits. Wouldn't YOU benefit from knowing how...

to read your prospect's mind?

You could study cold reading (I have for years), or take classes on body language, psychology, salesmanship, influence and persuasion.

All of those things could possibly help you to get inside the head of your prospect.

Or, as Glenn Osborn shows us, you take control of their thoughts.

Disruption. Out of the ordinary. Different. We are hard wired to notice different things, an old survival instinct which probably helped us evolve.

DISTRACTION is a key element of magic, of salesmanship, of copywriting.

Getting ATTENTION, is becoming an art form in itself.

How can you read minds for increased profits? By understanding we are all PREOCCUPIED, and when we interrupt that preoccupation, as Glenn does with flashing lights, confetti cannons, lottery tickets, etc.

He has changed the game from READING minds, TO penetrating the minds, and by instantly bypassing RAS and making people more susceptible to suggestions. You have been given a Master Class by Glenn on the art of gaining attention and increasing profits, I hope you appreciate it, as both Dien and I do.

I practice a slightly more subtle form of the Big Red Nose club's pre-occupational interrupters. I use something called

TOTAL CONSCIOUS AWARENESS. You'll find info in the archives, probably mentioned it 15 years ago or so. TCA.

You can't stay in this state of mind for long, but you can enter it at will and with a purpose. In the next couple of days, I'll give you some details about TCA and what it can do for you.

You may not be able to read minds, but, you'll come pretty dang close to it, and almost, by magic, you'll be able to increase your profits on PURPOSE.

TOTAL CONSCIOUS AWARENESS. It is a powerful tool in a world of the walking dead, or the awake unconscious masses who go through their day on auto pilot. Break their preoccupation, you'll do them and you a big favor.

P.S. - It's Not Just Me. Robert Cialdini has written an Entire book Called,
"Pre-Suasion" because HE TOO has noticed that what You DO.

Or say BEFORE You can Even get someones ATTENTION
is key to the sale.

I LOVE his example where a few "Scientists" Tried to get Women in the Mall
to Give Them Their Phone #'s.

BEST RESULTS by 300% ?

Women standing in Front of a Flower Shop - Were ALREADY in a sort
of Romantic Mood - cuz of the FLOWERS in THE WINDOW.

And thus Gave Away their Phone #'s to Total Strangers.

UNFORTUNATLEY.

Some Very, Very Bad Guys Who Robbed M*illion D*ollar Homes.

DUBBED "The Flower Bandit Gang"

Discovered that when they pulled up to a HUGE MANSION
In a Flower Bedecked Panel Van and went to the door to DELIVER A BIG
Bouquet of FLOWERS.

The Maid would LET THEM IN!

And all of this 20 YEARS Ahead Of Mr Cialdini.

This is GREAT!

I've always loved Glenn's stuff... I think your post, Gordon, helped to articulate why that is the case (as I couldn't quite articulate it myself... I just knew there was some absolutely amazing stuff there)!

I did start reading Pre-Suasion... But, shame on me, I got distracted and didn't finish it... I'm going back to reading it...

As a (very wealthy) mentor of mine says, he's addicted to what works. I'm trying to make sure I have that mindset. Focus on what really works... And you'll go far!

That's what we've got here... (Both today, and in years past...) We have a whole collection of what really works. It's valuable, and the key to life success!

(I'm not really into the mystical mumbo-jumbo you see around quite a bit... It makes you feel good, but does it really work?)

We've got a great meeting of the minds here, I'd say!

On the mystical mumbo-jumbo, one of my brothers is a fund manager, and makes quite a bit every year. His mother-in-law once commented, "(Brother's name) knows the Secret!" She had just read "The Secret"... (Of course, my brother rolled his eyes...) To me, it's more finding out what works, and doing it!

I'd bet he knows how PREOCCUPIED his prospects are with the ONE thing.

If you, Dien, were to draw the Pictogrigm of Persuasion, and your mentor were on the left and his prospect on the right, I guarantee you he knows what to say and do at the INTERSECTION.

That is where it all happens. As Glenn has been showing us lately, there are a lot of opportunities at those INTERSECTIONS where we meet other people.

Instead of a casual passing by, Glenn gets their attention, in a positive, upbeat manner, lowers RAS defenses, and is off to a good start.

When your mentor intersects with a prospect, he may use his success as his big red nose, his past is his attention getting-preoccupational interrupter (PI).

Just being wealthy, and known to be so, is a tremendous PI when dealing with matters of finance.

And as for what works, you know I'm 100% about results, and not theory. Although I do like to test theory in the marketplace, sometimes quite literally at the Mall, as I do in my silent Remote Influence "staring" strategy...but even here with the many trial balloons floated.

I liked Pre Suasion, and the idea behind TOTAL CONSCIOUS AWARENESS, is to know and understand what the basic/primary preoccupations are, what the gender specific ones are, and what any given person is thinking when they come to an intersection we create.

I would think Glenn enters this state, perhaps automatically, when he dons a big red nose, or fireplace hat...and he is instantly aware of his surroundings. During this heightened state, he is able to broadcast, maybe even use the power of FASCINATION in conjunction with the distraction and add power to his presence.

Your mentor also BROADCASTS ideas, and these are picked up on different frequencies...you may be tuned into his methods, thinking, intent while a prospect may tune into his being a model, or someone to take advice from.

We all are BROADCASTING, and when one enters into TCA, and can see things as clearly as Sherlock Holmes on his best days, and can sense, as well as intuit...well, that is as close to actual mind reading as it gets.

The point of TCA is to instantly put you inside their bubble of preoccupation and into their shoes, with a view from their side.

Some people do this naturally, but it can be learned, when we get the ego out of the way, and, as Glenn might put it...bring our big BRASS ones along with us.
