Arrow A gifted product is mightier than a gifted pen!

From: Gary Bencivenga’s Bullet # 20
http://bencivengabullets.com/bullets.asp?id=20

"The magic is in the product," not in the copywriter's pen. "Advertising doesn't create a product advantage. It can only convey it...No matter how skilful you are, you can't invent a product advantage that doesn't exist. The better your product, the more persuasive your ad can be, and the bigger your marketing success. Clever copywriting technique is no substitute for a brilliant product. Consumers are too smart".

I think the Magic of Gordon’s product is that anyone can learn how to
make a profit buying low and selling high and turn a profit their very first day!

For the right type of person or couple (perfect for a husband and wife to do together)
there is real magic in making money with photography!

What if someone learned how to take cute novelty poses of people and pets with
their digital camera? They would have a product that would practically sell itself.

The real trick would be to get people to come into your living room studio, pose for 60 minutes and
leave you with $500 - $800 in profits!

Imagine a product that will bring hundreds of people into your Living Room Portrait Studio each year!

That is the advantage my info product delivers. Lot's of customers ... real fast... without expensive advertising,
the fastest, most effective, lowest cost way for any portrait photographer or wannabee to earn $500 - $1,000+ Daily!

Antique Glamour Photography is a product with an almost unfair advantage.

People love it, want it and buy it without you having to twist arms.

My question for all copywriters who care to respond is...

Should I stay focused on the above in my sales letters or is it better to
paint a picture in the mind of how it really sucks commuting off to a
job everyday working for a boss you don't like and how all that can change
to staying home and earning money with your digital camera?

Cheers,
Steve Shulenski

Hi Steve,

Don't go after the make-money crowd. Go after the photographers.

Focus your entire offer and sales letter on how people who already like photography can make more money.

Make your offer about teaching photographers how to make money doing what they already "love" doing. (Focus on photography - making money the by-product.)

Here is a salesletter you can read to get inspiration:

Steve,

There is something to be said by Ankesh in that photographers already have an interest, however, the bizop world is vast and has possibilities.

Now as to the copy, fear of loss has always seemed to do more than painting a rosy picture and selling the dream. Mind you, selling the dream is important, the answer to what ails the bizop person.

But you've got to agitate the problem and sell the person that without some sort of solution, the person will have "Lost" their freedom, their choices, their chance at the brass ring. You then offer a solution.

Just my two cents.

Steve,

Think niche within a niche and Focus towards all kinds of other Pet related businesses who already have a clientele that would Love your finished product.

Small specialty businesses need an Education in adding other niche products and services into their business models, therefore giving them Multiple streams of income!

As you know your product Does that.... So Educate them.

This can be Applied to so many Businesses...

Also... Do you have an Affiliate program? If you don't... Why not?

In my case, the pen may be the gift.

I just wrote up a long-term repeat order for 250 roller ball pens, with his logo laser engraved on them. This order has gotten bigger over the years, and still we may have to add 50 to 100 in January to cover any contingencies.

In this case, the quality pens he gives out help re-inforce that Front-of-Brain awareness.

Thanks for the advice guy’s!

Ankesh – I’ll create a package designed for professional photographers only.

Millard – I’ll do up a package designed to take non photographers to profitable
studio owner within 30 days.

Phil – I stayed away from Click Bank because I wanted to offer my package as a
physical product but now that I just found out about http://www.Snipurl.com/PayDotComRiches
I will start a private affiliate program.

Dennis – You never miss a chance to promote your business. Good on you! – Shows that you are
100% sold on the value you offer so you’re not afraid to tell others about it. Why should you be?
If you know you got something that will help others it’s your duty to tell them about it. Keep it up!

Cheers,

Steve
