Default Instant Payment From EBAY!

A number of people in the previous thread
complained about having to wait a long time
to get paid on EBAY! I am sympathetic. I sold
a couple of items recently, and as you know,
paypals policy is to hold your funds until the buyer
not only gets the item but gives positive feedback.
Well, I just started a new job and I do not get paid
till next week. I need money FAST. I figure it would
be great to sell stuff on ebay and get paid the
same day. So all I have to do, I figure, was avoid
paypal. But is that possible?
The answer is YES!
I checked ebay's rules.

Payment options for most listings
For most categories, you need to offer at least
one electronic payment or Internet merchant
credit card option. This provides a fast and secure
transaction for you and the buyer. When a buyer
clicks the Pay Now button in My eBay, the listing,
or email notification, they pay you immediately and
the payment is processed through the option you've
chosen. You receive an email telling you that you've
been paid and you can ship the item.
You can also offer payment upon pickup. Payment by
personal check, cashier's check, bank-to-bank
transfers, or money order isn't allowed for most eBay
purchases. You'll choose your payment options when
you list your item. Here's a comparison of payment
options for most listing types. For details on each
electronic option, click its name.
PayPal
ProPay
Skrill
Merchant credit card
Payment upon pickup

So you have various methods listed above to choose how
you want to accept payments. The propay link did not
work, so the best option seems to be Skrill
I am going to open up a Skrill account today and put some
items up "buy it now" at bargain prices and hopefully get
paid the same day.
Has anyone else had experience using skrill?

Trevor

Hi Trevor,

Thanks for sharing this... I hadn't heard of Skrill...

I'd love to know what your experience is like!

By the way, I used to sell quite a lot on eBay years ago, then I got tired of doing all the shipping... However, some new opportunities have come up, and I'm thinking of getting back into it, so this is quite relevant!

Best wishes,

Dien
