Default Q. for ace dealmakers: How could we do this seminar locally?

Hi,

[quote]

LANCASTER - Even Annie Oakley, the famous gun-slinging cowgirl, had to start at the beginning.

Although the 30 Antelope Valley women who attended the Ladies' Handgun and Shooting Seminar on Saturday did not aspire to be the next Oakley, many of them shot a gun for the first time down in the basement of The Gun Shop on Sierra Highway north of Avenue J.

The seminar was designed to offer a gun safety and a how-to-shoot class for experienced shooters and beginners, and organizers hoped to make women like Aida Wells of Lancaster more confident with a firearm. (Read more at the link below the picture.)

How could we make $$$ doing this kind of seminar locally? BTW, I'm a member of the NRA etc., etc., and I'm finally getting around to reading the wonderful _Patriots_ by James Wesley, Rawles. The "crunch" he describes in this book was caused by hyperinflation. I'm wondering if hyperinflation is coming, or deflation? Anyone have an opinion?

Best,

- Boyd

Default Hmmmm, word didn't make it to Bakersfield on this one!

Dear Boyd, et al;

Lancaster is fairly close to me (relatively speaking)and I didn't hear word of this... trying to figure out how to describe it... event?

There was an outdoorswoman event I saw advertised that included driving a Hummer and target shooting, but thats about it even remotely similar.

They posted big posters in the local sporting goods stores, not sure how wide the promotion effort was but it was held about 45 minutes from Bakersfield.

Velly intellesting, Boyd....

With Passion,

Julie
