Default How to profit from the upcoming Zombie Apocalypse!

Wow... this is one of the most unusual businesses I've come across!

This business is a 5 km (just over 3 miles) obstacle course. And you pay money to run it.

But that's not what's unusual about this business...

As you run the course... You are chased by

ZOMBIES!

That's right! It's good training for the upcoming zombie apocalypse!

It moves location across the country (the next one is in Pennsylvania, in September)...

I don't know who came up with this... But I hope it succeeds!

This is one of the weirdest (yet spookily fun) business ideas I've ever come across!

Here's their website...

http://www.runforyourlives.com

Best wishes,

Dien

Default Several years ago it was reported that the CDC

released a booklet on how to survive a zombie attack. NOW they say it was intended to create awareness of disaster survival skills. Hmmmmm...

Genuis or idiot marketing, I guess the latter. Anyway the story is here:

Another company that is cashing in is Hornady, an ammunition manufacturer:

It seems to be successful, in that it seems to have been going for over a year now, and their next run (according to their website) is already about 90% full...

It's a very "media-friendly" concept, so I wouldn't be surprised if they've managed to get a lot of media coverage...

Best wishes,

Dien

Thanks for sharing that!

I found their disclaimer at the end of that web page very interesting...!
"Disclaimer: Hornady® Zombie Max™ ammunition is NOT a toy (IT IS LIVE AMMUNITION), but is intended only to be used on…ZOMBIES, also known as the living dead, undead, etc. No human being, plant, animal, vegetable or mineral should ever be shot with Hornady® Zombie Max™ ammunition. Again, we repeat, Hornady® Zombie Max™ ammunition is for use on ZOMBIES ONLY, and that's not a nickname, phrase or cute way of referring to anybody, place or thing. When we say Zombies, we mean…ZOMBIES!"
