Thanks Phil for sharing that unusual business!

I'm currently reading "The Talent Code" by Daniel Coyle, one of several books which talks about the "10,000 hours" of practice...

It's not only the practicing which is important, but also "how" you practice. To become a true expert, it's important to keep "pushing" your limits, rather than to keep mindlessly doing the "easy stuff" over and over again... It's important to be aware of your errors, so you can keep improving them.

Knowing this and implementing it, how could you not be successful? You just have to choose the right thing to practice, which will give you most success in the future... (I would focus on things like sales skills, deal-making skills, writing skills, and so on... Others may focus on tennis and golf - though it probably helps to start practicing as a kid with those things...!)

Best wishes,

Dien
