Default Happy World Book Day! Here's what's on my bookshelf...

Happy World Book Day! (April 23.)

To celebrate World Book Day - I thought I'd share what's on my "bookshelf."
(My "bookshelf" is virtual, as most of these I'm reading in ebook form...)

I'm always reading a bunch of things... Here's what I'm reading through at the moment...

Write Your Novel From the Middle, by James Scott Bell
(I had previously read his short book, How to Write Comedy: The Danny Simon Notes, which I quite liked! I just started reading this one. I'm mostly interested in writing non-fiction, but you can use fiction techniques to make your non-fiction writing more gripping...)

20 Master Plots and How to Build Them, by Ronald Tobias
(Only recently purchased this, and started reading...)

The Code of the Woosters, by P. G. Wodehouse
(Classic humor reading! Wodehouse invented the well-known character "Jeeves"...)

The Life and Crimes of Don King, by Jack Newfield
(Don King was/is a savvy character, even though he seemed to have an ethical bypass at birth. I got interested in reading more about him after I discovered that he used option contracts to secure the fighters for the Muhammad Ali-George Foreman "Rumble in the Jungle" boxing match...)

Predictable Success: Getting Your Organization on the Growth Track - and Keeping It There, by Les McKeown
(Some interesting business info here...)

Hope you enjoyed this post. Now, what are you reading at the moment?

Best wishes,

Dien
