Default Is the average age of new entrepreneurs increasing?

There may be a new trend in entrepreneurship...

SCORE (as you may know) is an organization (in the USA) which helps new entrepreneurs to get on their feet. SCORE stands for the Service Corps of Retired Executives. That is, they are people with experience in business, who are willing to generously spend some of their time helping newcomers avoid some of the pitfalls of new business!

Anyhow, SCORE in Northern Illinois has noticed a new trend. In the past, many new entrepreneurs were in their 20s and 30s. Now, many are in their 40s, 50s, and 60s.

Here is a short article about it...

One thing this means is that you don't have to feel hesitant about starting a new business, no matter what your age.

Ray Croc took over McDonald's and turned it into a chain when he was aged 52.

Louise Hay founded her publishing company, Hay House, at age 58.

Colonel Sanders started his Kentucky Fried Chicken empire at age 65.

I think it proves the point that whatever age you are, it could be the right age to start a business!

Best wishes,

Dien
