Default Please say a prayer....

Please say a prayer for those who have been killed or injured in the attacks on the WTC and other attacks and for their families....

I'm stunned, and there's not much more I can say beyond that....

Default Thanks Margaret...

I'm stunned, it's hard to believe....

I have friends in Boston (I've spent quite a bit of time there during the past three years).... I hear one of the hijacked flights was from Boston but I hope nobody I know was on the plane...

I also have a friend who works for Goldman Sachs in NYC (not in the World Trade Center but the Goldman Sachs building is close by).... I hope he's okay too -- but I don't know....

It's a shocking and sad day....

If I was younger I'd be heading down to the nearest recruiting office but...I don't think they'd take me So...my wife and I are going down to the Red Cross and give blood.

Our lives will never be the same again. There will ALWAYS be that "tenseness" around us...a nervous awareness....that was never with American citizens in any of our other wars or "skirmiches" because all the action was "over there"...not on OUR soil. Today it landed on OUR soil.

This is WAR! My little brother who's been "retired" from the service for 12 years was CALLED UP this morn. He's a specialist. They called him up for Desert Storm also.

He lives in a tiny town in Idaho. The "voice" on the phone told him he is "Now on "active duty and to await further ORDERS!""

He's expecting a helicopter to come pick him up any minute.

So...if they are reaching back for the "old farts" our military is VERY SERIOUS!

A bit of "good news"...my 18 yr old nephew has a job on the 87 floor of Tower #1. When I saw that building go down, my wife and I wept like babies.

Then...a few minutes later the phone rang. It was his mother who told us Erik did NOT go to work today because of his alleries. Thank God for allergies.

Take care folks....pray and give some blood today!

I am shocked also. I will pray for all of the injured and for the families who have lost someone. I hope that all of the readers of this Forum will do the same. It is a terrible tragedy.

I live a mile from the Pentagon and the explosion shook my house. The damage and surrealistic view of the collapsed side of the building, hurt victims, etc. was almost too much. I went over to offer help, but the professionals were totally impressive, professional and in control.

A friend's son worked in the Trade Center, but was transferred to mid-town last month, thank God! Don - I know a little how you feel.

Yes pray, and pray that we (the world community) track down the terrorists like the rats they are and bring them down. And like Don, were I younger I'd be volunteering to track them down. Anyway, I will donate blood.

I won't pretend to understand what you are going through. It's something I can't imagine at all. And to have your own assetts used against you is, perhaps, far worse than being hit by a bomb from afar.

And even though placing myself in your shoes is something I can't do, I want you to know that I feel for you. For your loss. For the cowardly and unprovoked attacked on your sovereignty, on your citizens, on your freedom.

I feel I want to help you in your hour of need. Though I'm not too sure how to do that. And I want you to know,

America, my saddened heart goes out to you.

Michael Ross.

Default A heart filled amount of thoughts and prayers

My family and I extend our deepest prayers and thoughts to those families and victims involved in this horific tragedy.

Although most situations like this could take a long time to weed through, I hope this differs from the norm and a swift resolution in found.

Take care everyone,

What can I say but to add my own voice to the voices of those who have already spoken.
