Default I used to dunk my toast in my coffee... But now...

While I don't do it often, one of life's pleasures I learned from my parents was to get a piece of toast, spread butter on it so it melts... and dunk it in my coffee...

Yummy! That crunch of the toast, mixed with the liquid coffee and melted butter flavors... It was heaven!

But, now the Japanese have figured out a different way to do something similar...

Instead of getting toast, and dunking it in your coffee... Why not cut out the middle-man...

And spread the coffee right on your toast?

Yes, they have invented a coffee spread...

It's a milk-based spread, which apparently has a creamy and sweet taste, along, of course, with the taste of coffee...

Will it give humble peanut butter a run for its money?

Thanks Roger,

Pre-toasted bread... Why not cut out the toaster?

By the way, this is a bit of a tangent, but...

As some of you know, I've been involved in shipping products to West Africa. (My business partner is still there, running the business... We set up a store there.)

People want kitchen items, right? So kitchen items should sell... But we made one huge mistake.

We packed a lot of toasters in our shipping container to sell there. At least 50 toasters, I'd say. Good profits, right?

But we made a big error...

Apparently, West Africans don't toast their bread! They just eat their bread un-toasted... (Toasting it is not part of their culture!)

As far as I'm aware, we still have a huge pile of unsold toasters, in the store room of our shop...!

(Know any West Africans who want a toaster? )

Hmm... A good (and expensive) lesson on why you should know the local culture...!

Best wishes,

Dien

Maybe your target audience was a bit too broad

You see, "West Africa" consists of 18 countries, with an estimated population of well over 340 MILLION people (2013 estimate)

The people in my part of "West Africa" are HEAVY consumers, and I'm sure toasters (and other kitchen appliances) will FLY off the shelves here...at the right price, of course

I'm interested in knowing more about your merchandise.

Please PM more details.

Thank you

Well, this sounds interesting though. I think, I've seen my husband dunking a piece of bread in his coffee and I've tasted it and its good!

Default Make sure you spread the butter on the toast, so it melts... :)

It is good!

I don't do it often, but I do like it...

I make sure I toast the bread, butter it (so the butter melts on the bread), then dunk!

It's not the same without the melted butter!

Best wishes,

Dien
