I used the same idea to create a product for magicians called, "Conversations with Magicians." It is STILL being sold on a top magician supply company.

Hmmm... "Conversations with Gardeners" or "Conversations with Auto Mechanics" or "Conversations with Cooks" could be interesting projects.

You got something Millard. The neat thing, take your Phone, use ZOOM, and if you give the EXPERT some advance of what you will ask...

BAM/VOILA, ALMOST instant product. It is what Mike Senoff has been doing for the last two decades, I've read many of his interviews. Fortunately for me, he does a PDF along, cause I can't do audio, and very little video, unless I can fast forward it.

Mike specializes in business interviews, but there are tons of other people with their share of STORED VALUE, just ready and willing to get it into CIRCULATION, and with your help, they can and you both win, eh?

Sounds like a good idea... I'll talk to a few folks and film a few things this week! (I did something similar with a friend several years ago.... Maybe I still have the video!)

Default Re: How a 15 dollar investment becomes a $1,000.00 a month recurring income...

I think it is unrealistic, with such a small investment to reach a million dollars.

I agree. But then, where did YOU come up with that. I claim, and stand by it, that a 15 dollar investment, can create a $1,000.00 a month recurring income, most likely via some sort of a short term, or long term subscription/membership site.

I also think it is unrealistic to spend two dollars on a lottery ticket and win a million dollars...but the facts are, it happens quite often. I also think it unrealistic to develop a game app and make tons of money doing that, unrealistic but seems like it is being done, according to your sig file.

You are welcome to participate, but get your facts straight before you do, fair enough?

Default *Especially for Dog Owners* - Just Started Making Money at *Medium*

Thanks Gordon,

I Don't Like to Post Until AFTER I start making moolah with something New.

And...

Even Though the "Medium" site P*ays you to write articles there.

I have not Turned on that "Partner Switch".

A - Cuz I can only test one thing at a time.

B - Cuz I wanted to Test out what happens within The 102 Million "Medium" visitors a month - when you use 5 Key Words. (Without "Help" from The "Medium" Editors)

C - I wanted to Test something I can CONTROL. "Medium" might stop paying writers at any time. For any reason.

PLUS I have better Control
when I Write about a Niche. And make the sale AWAY from "Medium"

THE "MEDIUM RULE" is No Selling on the site.

So.

STEP #1 - I Wrote an Article about a Bored-Out-of-his-mind Special Forces Soldier Who asked me to Turn him into a DOG CONSULTANT.

STEP #2 - (At the end of the "Article") - You Offer a FREE REPORT - (Which moves readers off of "Medium" onto another website.

STEP #3 - You offer a "Executive Report for Sale" at The End of the F-r-e-e Report.

Special Reports that Cost 9 Bucks
SEEM to Hit a MAGIC SPOT in Peoples Minds.

I just got this email from one of my "Instant Dog Training Report" Buyers...

=====
=====
Dear Glenn,

I bought because I enjoyed your writing and loved the path from email thru medium and on to the order page.

It was a seamless experience and I enjoyed the writing all the way to the last word on the report.

Thank you for that.

I'm thinking about how I can use your methods - maybe even license some content once in awhile to sell the way you do.

Bradley

=====
=====

He does not own a dog.

He bought cuz he "Likes" my writing.

Nice Compliment.

But this would NEVER happen if I were Selling a 695.00 Info Product.

NICHED
Special REPORTS
Seem to Hit a Sweet Spot.

an
IMPULSE.

Great Fun While We Are Stuck at home.

Thanks,
Glenn Osborn

Oooops.

Got carried away - cutting and pasting Bradleys Email note.

Gotta go back and Get the Link to the "Medium" Article that is making The Money.

Default Cantankerous *BURNT CHICKEN BREAD* Recipe - Glenn

Thanks Gordon,

"Seth Godin" - author of "THE PURPLE COW"
FIRED his Book Publisher.

Because he can sell more books himself.

He writes each book chapter by chapter at his own website.

Then Sells the book to his list.

Who - you would THINK - had already read it. But he sells tens of thousands of his books this way.

"MEDIUM" lets me Test Cooking Recipes.

One Recipe at a time.

GORDON - You will appreciate this. I noticed that Every cookbook on Amazon Kindle is full of PERFECT Recipes.

But that is a LIE.

Everybody Makes Mistakes.

So I am Building a "Cooking Disaster - Mistake Filled Cookbook"
One Recipe at a time.

Testing each Recipe on "Medium"
to Strangers - based on the # of CLAPS.

This "Burnt Chicken Bread" Recipe came out really really well.

Thanks,
Glenn Osborn

Hi Glenn,

I love what you do... and thanks for sharing it!

You are one of the most fascinating business people online, I think...

You do things differently. Very unique...

One thing I may go into is trying to create viral content... I haven't tried it till now.

To do that, though, I realize it's a good idea to have a blog...

I've experimented with blogs before. I may start doing one seriously...

Medium might be a good way to do it. Still figuring it out...

Why do people share content? That is the question...

It's different from copywriting. A great copywriter could be really lousy at creating "viral" content...

If one could master the "art" of viral content... Wow.

I'm starting to think there's a "trio" of good skills to have...
  • Copywriting/sales - which is writing that makes SALES
  • Editorial content - writing things that people LOVE TO READ
  • Viral content - creating writing and images that people LOVE TO SHARE
Best wishes!

Dien

A good blog funnel, would have all three. Editorial content that is viral, if you love to read it, you will probably share it...And if I visit a blog, like the daily posts, the occasional meme or pic, then I will consider buying from that blogger.

If your Brother wrote a report on HOW TO RESEARCH TECH TRENDS, I would buy it because I LIKE his newsletter.
