Hi "Outstanding"

For businesses in Africa, you may want to look into the phenomenon of microlending.

One source of microlending is Kiva - http://www.kiva.org .

You can contact them via their "contact us" web page - http://www.kiva.org/help/contact-us .

Also, here is the Wikipedia page on "Microcredit" which gives a broad overview of how it works...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microcredit

Some points with microcredit - they tend to prefer to lend to a group of people, and they tend to favor lending to women. (The reasons why are because they've found that groups of women are less likely to default on their loans.) However, you can still get individual loans, to my understanding...

Best wishes,

Dien

P.S. Many may be surprised, but African economies are growing... Here is an article I read recently about this, from "The Atlantic" magazine...

Africa's Amazing Rise and What it Can Teach the World
http://www.theatlantic.com/internati...-world/253587/

A quote from the article...

"In the ten years from 2000 to 2010, six of the world's ten fastest-growing countries were in sub-Saharan Africa: Angola, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Chad, Mozambique, and Rwanda. In eight of the past ten years, sub-Saharan Africa has grown faster than Asia, according to The Economist. In 2012, the International Monetary Fund expects Africa to grow at a rate of 6%, about the same as Asia."

I'm not an expert in this area, but I do believe that there are and will be huge business opportunities in Africa in the coming decades... I think it's no coincidence that China is heavily investing in Africa.

P.P.S. "Outstanding" is really posting from the country of Ghana (I checked).

1. Show the track record. Track record for real estate investment in Ghana. Your own track record - how well you've done over the years. No overseas investor will invest without seeing these 2 things.

2. Tell how you'll be dealing with the local Government issues. Any red tape.

3. First focus on folks who were from Ghana but have now left the country. These are people who are easier to convince to invest in Ghana.

To give you an idea about the kind of information investors will require, take a look at: http://dholerasir.com/
Thats a website setup by a friend who is developing a township in Gujarat, India - and is looking for investors.
