Lightbulb Another look at BELIEF

Of course I'm speaking as at it relates to business...

I'm discovering that as my plans get CLEARER, my inner motivation/belief grows and I get more things done.

Thus CLARITY precedes belief.

It occurred to me that perhaps that could be the real "secret" behind Harvey Brody's "View from the rooftop/pre-flight checklist"

Because he already has a clear plan, he isn't pursuing his plan with the tentative "let's-see-if-this-works" mindset.

It's hard to DOUBT when you have a written blueprint leading to your goal. I'm always in awe of Brody's confident tone that pervades the Answers to a QOP report.

Has anyone else noticed a link between clear action plans and the confidence needed to produce results?

P.S. The CREED is also helping in clarifying my plans. Thank you

Lightbulb Or as Jim Straw puts it...

To paraphrase Jim Straw:

You must CONSCIOUSLY accept that the result is possible for you

It's one thing to read a book by Muhammad Ali on
How to beat Foreman in 5 Easy Steps

The fact still remains; you are NOT Ali. And so blindly trying to follow his tips will NOT work for you.

Building your plan will instill in you the belief that you can win your own battles.

It was at Lujan's at Tallmadge Circle, and Jody Victor was about to show his blueprint for his new home. He had been talking about it for a year. He was living in a modest house on Linda Dr. (if memory serves). He wanted to build his dream home, in Green Township.

So, after dinner and a lot of anticipation, we saw his blueprints.

He had a very clear vision, his CLARITY was crystal clear. He also had a blueprint for getting the funds, which involved reaching a certain level in his business, which was Amway.

He had to have X number of opportunity meetings, his downline had to do X amount of business, he had to hit X goals, before he could begin to build his dream house.

A year after the meeting at the circle, he built his dreamhouse, according to blueprint.

So, along with the clarity of the goal reached, in Harvey Brody's case it may be kicking the chocks under the wheels once he had landed safely in the city he was flying to, he also knew the action needed to get there, including making any in flight adjustments, due to weather, or air traffic, or plane malfunction.

But he had it all penciled out, before he started. Like Jody Victor and his house blueprint, both men knew where they were going and HOW they were going to get there.

Jim Staw also said to have the faith to move the mountain, but bring your shovel to get started, and keep it handy.

I've been nothing if not a broken record for 18 years, hammering away on FOCUS, FOUNDATION, FRAMEWORK.

Or, knowing what you want, and why.

THEN designing the blueprint and the action steps.

You may be ready for a breakthrough, especially if you learn to control the iron filings with a magnet, and work only with #1 types. There, you have all the secrets you need.
