Default Paid Surveys

Has anyone heard of getting paid to complete surveys online ? The site is at http://www.paidsurveysonline.com

Is this a waste of time or a Scam of any sort ? Has anyone tried this program ?

Thank you.

Offline, I have been paid as much as $100 (plus dinner) to participate in a focus group. I did not have to pay anything for the privilege. That is the part that may be a scam. This site charges money in order for you to be eligible for focus groups and surveys, whereas the actual researchers just pay participants.

If you ask all of your friends if they've ever been in a focus group and who they did it for, you'll probably come up with someone who has done it. Then you call that company and register with them. Then once they have research that fits your demographics, they'll call you. And all without spending a dime.

The catch is that every study is looking for very specific demographics, such as parents of teenagers, IT managers, 40-50-year-old men with hair loss, etc. If you don't qualify, you don't qualify.

Default here is a legit site about paid surveys

This site belongs to an acquaintance. I haven't been on the site but she is an honest person so I wouldn't hesitate to join it.

Default Recommendation Re: Paid Surveys

Ken, you can get paid for online surveys - I've been paid regularly by a well-established market research company. No cost to join. URL below.

Hope it helps,

Default Important---Re: Recommendation Re: Paid Surveys

Thanks Alexander. I do have to say that I just contacted many of the companies that this company said to contact and the reply was interesting. They said that what they are doing is a Scam and they are not associated with this company in any way. They also said it was bordering on the illegal and to contact the government. They were receiving many, many emails from people asking what was going on, so, buyer beware I guess.

However, I will look at the company you recommended. If sign up doesn't cost anything, that is a good sign at least. Thank you.

Although getting paid for surveys doesn't usually bring anyone a full-time income, and it does take a bit of time, it's something most people can easily understand. You can generate a long-term extra income with a legitimate company. Better - if the company pays for surveys done by people you refer.

All the best,
Alexander

Yes, I've heard of them or gotten an email about them from time to time. I would say this ... how much time do you have on line and your purpose. Are you trying to make money or just a hobby. If you have nothing but time... go for it.
