Default Hand-washing and mask problems lead to this opportunity...

Many people are washing their hands and wearing masks now to stay safe...

What you may not know is that constant hand washing and mask wearing can cause problems...

Like dry skin and skin irritation...

Skin irritation from masks has been called "maskne" (which rhymes with "acne")...

One Washington DC area woman makes her own skin balm, and found that in the pandemic - sales shot up 50%!

People have been buying her products more due to dry hands from hand washing, and skin irritation from face masks...

With skin irritation on the rise, the demand for good skin care products is on the rise too!

She sells via Amazon, wholesale through some stores, and also through her own online store...

It's not that hard to make your own skin balm. Often your home-made lotions will be better for you - and more natural - than the factory-made ones...

Best wishes,

Dien Rice

I agree.

And even if a person don't have a one single product to dry skin, a person can join various products and sell a kit.

Like selling a "Hands Care Kit": a 1 good soap + a 1 good towel after wash hands + a 1 good hands cream to keep hands cared.

Hi Mike,

That is a really good "twist" on the idea!

Which reminds me... I don't remember if I wrote about it here...

One guy (pre-pandemic) created "travel kits"... He bought in bulk little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. He bought them in bulk, then assembled them into little kits...

I researched it. You can often buy these in bulk from hotel and restaurant supply stores.

He found he could sell the kits (as "travel kits") at many multiples of his cost. It was a great money-maker!

And Mike is right... Why not do something similar during the pandemic? A little "kit" you can take around with you (as you go shopping, or whatever), which contains all you need, in a compact, easy-to-carry form?

Wow, I'd buy one of those!

Thanks Mike for sharing those great insights!

Best wishes,

Dien

Thanks!

Haven't had problems with a skin on my face. I am wearing hand-made cotton masks that I regularly wash of course. They are comfortable, breathable and pretty too. But I can imagine that wearing a mask dozen hours a day cab irritate the skin pretty badly.
My hands, however are a totally different story. Hand sanitizers are alcohol based and alcohol dries the skin. Red spots, itching and burning are the most common problems. Balms and creams are a way to go but also vitamin D.
I am glad someone found a way to achieve a goal during the pandemic like the cream lady. I just hope her produce is genuine and not overpriced.
I also love the idea of set 1+1. That is glorious!
