Default tough time online?

You don't have to tell me that things are tough online I see it every day in my inbox. People I haven't heard from in a month of Sundays are suddenly rediscovering that I exit and, guess what...I have an email! Grrrrr! So they proceed to use it to the hilt. Well, when I get fed up with their tactics, I unsubscribe and block their address.

Another thing that bothers me is that because I am on one of their lists, they think I should be on ALL of their lists. They have different partners for some of them but they don't care...they've got my email so spam away! Unsubscribe is my answer to the abusers. I'm tired of it. Cease and desist! Damned aggravations. This is all the warning they're going to get so be warned.

Hi, Sandi - it maybe wouldn't be so bad if the folks that send out these emails were really contributing something positive; some of the letters are just out and out begging letters. Maybe they always were and I just didn't see it!

... cynicism rocks :O)

I vote Sandi Bowman for President!

OK ... I got a little excited maybe ... but I do agree wholeheartedly with you.

I have recently been going through unsubscribing and some will ask why. I just put that I did not sign on for a pitchfest but was actually only interested in perhaps the one single thing they were offering but made me subscribe in order to get. Once subscribed I got the ONE thing on ONE subject but that subject rarely if ever revisited but from that point forward they all had buddies or friends and none had anything of value to me. (Radio station WIIFM). Never anything that may be of interest without a price tag ... not that I am opposed to paying for value but sometimes you like to think that people look at you as more than just a possible buck.
