But you all must ignore spelling and grammar errors, I'm doing this quickly and as fast as I can type. If you have any questions, I'll be glad to answer them.
I'll try to post a lesson a day.Probably. I might miss a day or two.
Here is LESSON ONE.
OK. Now I'll go over the DOL, here it is again.

Your first task is to copy the PictoGram of Life.
This is the first ACTIVITY step.
I learned this from Gary Halbert, who taught people to copy ads from magazines and newspapers in longhand.
I did it, just like Sir Gary said (for those of you who have never heard of Gary Halbert, he is regarded as one of the best marketers/copywriters of the modern era, he is a master...and if you ask him, he'll say THE master.)
Now I know for a fact that many people won't do it. Why? I've seen it for myself.
They say, "I've got the ad right in front of me, why do I need to copy it in my own handwriting."
The REASON, is it stimulates your brain. And creates neural pathways, or reinforces some of what you have.
Want to make it a challenge? If you are right handed, do it left handed.
Lefties are OK.
Why? This stimulates the RIGHT side of your brain.
So, copy the DIAGRIGM OF LIFE on a separate piece of paper.
It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. Once you have it written, read it ALOUD three times. You may not understand what it means just yet, but reading it aloud uses "reinforced stimuli"...and your brain operates on stimulation.
You may (or may not) have a stimulus preference for creating neural paths, some Neuro Linguistic Programmers teach it as gospel, and that a person has a dominant preference.
Audio. Visual. Touch. Are the NLP's big three.
You see the SQ1 has all the stimuli on it.
Then. Get a blank piece of paper. Draw your lifeline.
Make it 100 years. Put youself on it where you are TODAY.
On PICTOGRIGMS (also known as pictograms, diagrigms too) to the LEFT is the PAST.
To the RIGHT IS THE FUTURE.
to the far left, but not all the way to the end, write your birthdate if you know it. And under that write the place. To the far right, write down the word DEATH, and make it 100 years from your birth.
OK, go back to your birth date.
To the left of this date, draw 2 stick figures. To the left of them draw 2 sets of couples.
These represent your biological parents. And your grand parents. On the pictogrigm it shows you came into this world with certain INHERITED characteristics and genetic influences.
We'll get into these later.
Now, from your birth, move 10 years to the right, toward where you are today.
Write the year that was. In between your birth and your 10th year, write above and below the line all the places you lived. What school you attended, did you move or live in one place.
What we are doing is creating a PICTURE of your past, so you can begin to examine some of your life.
Also, you want to put any SIBLINGS around you, put them slightly above your life line, use M or F for male or female and put their ages. They should be placed above your life line as they are in birth order.
In other words if you have an older brother or sister, he/she will be to your right on the lifeline.
Why bother with siblings? Science shows birth order plays a part in things, you'll discover what on the RELATIONSHIP pictogrigm.
Over the next 2 weeks you will be drawing the 12 master pictogrigms and DEVELOPING you own too.
Once you have the 12, I'll post the rest of them.
Now move up the lifeline in 5 year increments and fill in the blanks. Use KEYWORDS.
For example, at 12, you moved. Write MOVED/Cuyahoga Falls.
That means you moved to Cuyahoga Falls.
Why put in places?
When you get to the PHYSCIAL pictogrigm, you will see the relationship of geography/environment and the PHYSICAL INFLUENCES that have been in your life.
OK. Do your pictogrigm every 5 years up to your CURRENT age.
You will have created a VISUAL of your past. And from this you will be able to identify certain "invisible forces" that have been at work on you, and maybe even the things that have prevented you from fulfilling your potential.
Here it is again, although you should be looking at the one you copied.

You were born. You are going to die.
You came into this world with certain inherited biological and genetic codes. These influence you your whole life.
You also have certain needs. OXYGEN is the first thing on the list. What does a doctor do if a baby doesnt come out kicking and screaming, he gives it a good whack on the butt. Why?
To fill its lungs with OXYGEN. It is the essential element, and most of us dont get enough. Why? We dont EXERCISE enough.
You see you of course have other needs, water, food, clothing shelter on a pictogrigm there is kind of a shorthand. The words you see represent more ideas and concepts. It is not important that you have Abraham Maslows hierarchy of basic human needs, let it suffice that you KNOW you have certain needs.
Some of the needs are INSTINCTIVE. Some are learned. And for many adults, needs are CHOSEN.
Ties in nicely with the needs/wants discussion.
Running parallel to your lifeline is the PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE. You learn as a baby to utilize the economies of life. Cry LOUDER or harder, and you may get fed.
These infant/early childhood neural pathways become some of our deepest and therefore most used (although most often as an adult at the subconscious biological level).
You see the PAIN/PLEASURE principle that follows us throughout life. It says also avoid loss/desire gain you might want to add FIGHT/FLIGHT, it is all part of the same neural-biological response.
The same neurotransmitters are released in children in the Pain/Pleasure reaction as the fight/flight response in older people. Interesting isnt it.
This is the FOUNDATION Im laying. We have to get through and understanding of the Master pictogrigm before we can move to the next one. OK?
The DOL shows that we have daily experiences. These are also OUTCOMES of our behavior. And when responsibility is applied, also our results.
Ive chosen to use 5 paths, WHY? I only have 5 fingers. You may want to create more paths, like Mike Rodman says, you may want to separate family from RELATIONSHIPS, although I advise you NOT to do that until youve gone through the whole program. There is a reason for everything being the way it is.
So, you see these five paths (also 5 rings of circus, or 5 lanes of a highway) are:
Financial, Physical, Relationships, Mental, Spiritual. These are the five arenas you play your life out in. All connected to the others.
You see that these daily events or EXPERIENCES are of two natures. Chosen experiences or RANDOM experiences.
You see that ONLY 5 to 10% are of a Random nature, and I believe that is way too high.
But give yourself 10% if you want. What that means is that 90% of your experiences in life are chosen ones.
Either by you.
Or by someone else.
You see very clearly from doing your childhood, that what you experienced in those formative years were for the most part chosen by someone else.
This comes into play when we build the PictoGrigm of Past Experiences.
You see the ENVIRONMENT and Geography was chosen for you.
What school you went to. What kind of people you were surrounded by what the environmental and geographical influences upon you were.
All done without your permission or input. Of course not, you were a kid.
But, as an adult if someone is making the decisions about what you are experiencing, it is because you have SURRENDERED them.
This is tough for most people to accept.
Ive been recruited for jobs (three times) but most of my work experience occurred because I went to THEM and raised my hand and said pick me, pick me, not the other guy and they did.
When I agreed to that PAYCHECK, I willingly surrendered my choices of experiences.
Many people forget this part, NO ONE in the FREE world is holding a gun to your head making you work, YOU put yourself there.
If you dont like it, then it is up to you to reclaim your experiences. Which is what SQ1 is all about.
Now the top part has to do with CAUSE.
The lifeline is EFFECT. What we call EXPERIENCES (OUTCOMES, RESULTS, DAILY EVENTS) are determined by our
BEHAVIOR.
What we do on a daily basis determines what we become. Like I say, this aint Rocket Science.
Your daily behavior is determined by what you DO, what you dont do. These are ACTIONS, REACTIONS, or Inaction.
What determines these go up the page to the circle of connection.
YOUR Overall STATE how you feel
As it says on the DOL, The sum total of your feelings, thoughts and physiologys at any given time (NOW).
Let me make an offer to any of you. Come to Cuyahoga Falls and lunch is on me on one condition.
We have to have pizza. OK, I lost a few of you. Saved a few bucks there. OH, but there is only one kind of pizza we can order it has to have double
ANCHOVIES.
NOW. Do a check. Are you still on for lunch with me? Is a double anchovy pizza good for you if so Im buying.
But guess what I KNOW FOR A FACT happened with about 90 out of 100 people. Their hands went down.
In fact, you may have experienced a REACTION, a physical reaction to the stimulus I just used, a WORD, that you read and got processed through your brain, may have produced a face of disgust. NO WAY with the Anchovy.
You cant smell the fishy little things.
You cant see it.
You cant taste it YUMMY.
You cant touch it. You just HEARD it inside your head and your neural pathways were stimulated.
It has been my experience with the great ANCHOVY METAPHOR that only 2-3 in 100 have NEUTRAL feelings about eating anchovies, how about you, can you take it or leave it?
I know that most people dont like them. I know that some people had a PHYSICAL reaction to the word I wrote and they READ.
This demonstrates the whole left side of the circle.
Your thoughts are BRAIN ACTIVITY. Brain activity is FUNCTIONAL excitement by a stimulus, there are external and internal stimuli.
The right side of the circle is the body.
YOU achieve, you get, you accomplish by how you MOVE your body.
In conjunction with what is on your mind.
So, read this again and again.
Say something like this:
I am 45 years old. I was born on Jan. 25, 1955. I lived in Akron with blah blah blah.
I can now see where I have been . I know that if I dont change directions, then Im going to get where I am headed.
My OUTCOMES will be determined by the decisions I make, to either DO, or NOT DO certain behaviors.
Then read the DOL formula in the bottom right hand of the paper.
Tomorrow Ill begin to post the PATHS, beginning with the FINANCIAL, although it has been posted here already. But Ill put up the five paths, then the POA, then the Binary Matrix and the other Pictogrigms.
Feel free to ask any questions you want for the next 2 weeks, then this will probably disappear before our grand opening, when a lot of traffic is going to be coming this way.
You might want to print these lessons out, they may never see the light of day again.
Im open to questions. But, if you dont DO THE PICTOGRIGM, dont waste my time.
