Here is the Binary Matrix.
![]()
You only make it to hold 10 items, no more.
If you have more, like 11, then use TWO, and put 6 on one, and 5 on the other.
We're going to do one together from a list of 10 POSSIBLE Internet WANTS...
Remember the premise of SQ1 starts at the question, what do you want?
You see you only compare TWO things (binary) at a time. But there are many comparisons (matrix)...
Here is your practice list.
I want:
1) my own ezine
2) my own ebook
3) a website
4) a forum
5) my own affiliate program
6) a niche portal
7) my own internet classrom
8) radio show
9) syndicate
10) to make just make some dang money
Start with number 1--ezine
Compare it to 2 ebook, circle the NUMBER you prefer
Compare 1 to 3 circle the preference
1 to 4 etc etc (you're a bright crowd, you can figure it out)
Then go to #2 and compare it to #3
The 2 to 4
2 to 5
After the 2's go to the 3's
3 to 4...all the way to 10.
Then add up the numbers. Whichever has the most has a PRIORITY weighting.
If you don't feel that is right, go and compare the top three (after you've counted the numbers) to see if there is any POSSIBILITY that you really WANT more than the others.
This is how you PRIORITIZE from the lists of possiblities.
Putting them down on paper, and comparing FORCES you to think about them, and during this process your subconscious sends signals.
Do this exercise.
Then what happens is we start building YOUR personal MAP OF POSSIBILITES.
We'll use the 5 pahts, and I'll post little help sheets...
these will generate LISTS for you.
From the lists you compare and PRIORITIZE...
At the end you should have 15 or more GOALS...3 in each path...and they should be prioritized...and then plugged into the POA.
That is when you find out what you REALLY want...and also the plan almost MAGICALLY APPEARS on how to get it...at least it shows what ACTIVITY you must do to manifest the WANT...
You can always choooooooooooooooossssssseeeee
not to do it, or to scratch anything off and start over.
But you'll know a lot more than you ever imagined about goal setting.
Once we get to the PATH worksheets, the question becomes WHAT DO YOU WANT AND WHY...
WHY is the MOTIVATION. Without a good why, you will make a half-hearted attempt.
That pictogrigm of POSITIVE thought will be filled with minus signs...are you starting to get it yet?
Hang in there, you will.
OH, let me know what some of you came up with from the above INTERNET list...you can post anonymously if you want.
