"You say it's urgent
So urgent, so oh oh urgent
Just wait and see
How urgent my love can be
It's urgent"
I was listening to the song "Urgent" by Foreigner, and it struck me...
This song could be about scarcity! Of course, scarcity is a great motivator to get people to buy...
It's Urgent!
(Or you'll miss out...)
Some people don't like using it - especially false scarcity. I agree, you should use it honestly, and not "fake" it... But there's no denying, it is a motivator that works...
Some products have natural "scarcity" and "urgency". For example, an event, or anything with a limited amount of items to sell, or a limited number of tickets. (Sometimes that could be where physical products may have an advantage over digital ones - there is a natural "scarcity" about them...)
