There's a guy in the town of Middlewich, in the UK, who runs his own 3D printing business... from his house!
He has six 3D printers.
People usually bring their own design files, and he prints them out. (Though he'll try his hand at designing items himself if they're simple.)
This business might not work in big cities (as there are often already 3D printing services), but a home-based 3D printing service could work in smaller cities and towns...
