I went to rjlsoftware.com to re-download simple search & replace onto my current computer since it wouldn't back up or transfer and most of the site was non-functional, including the support everything.
I tried to send them an email with a copy of the error message (it bounced) but, despite having popups disallowed, I got one after another crapola stuff until I was able to exit. In the last less than 2 hours, I have received 12 spams I've never heard of before, four requests for verification of sign up (I didn't sign up for anything), three congratulations, and one that just assumed an opt-in. They'll get their just desserts. ;)
Just a heads up. Too bad, it WAS a nice site and good utilities...which I would've gladly paid for some of them. No more.
