What have you given up?
the thing is I work for a large u.s. bank and with overall economy I've simplified for new years' resolution.
very easy so far.
I eliminated cable $100 per mo. to zero, got one of the hdtv antenna and found there is going to be over 20 channels in my area and added netflix @$8.99 mo.
sold an old jeep, insurance savings of $45 per mo.
brownbag to the office, have enjoyed the lunch break more since I'm not hurried and save well over $100 per mo.
I guess I haven't really given up anything.
