Can you view the people in real time against the fantasy background BEFORE snapping the pic? So, if the background has a shark (for instance), you can position the people perfectly in relation to the shark BEFORE taking the pic?
I live in Maui, so there are many "comedy" situations people could be put in via fantasy backgrounds! But must have ability to position them before pic is taken.

Yes you can do that with a Virtual Scene Machine (http://www.virtualbackgrounds.net/).
However, a Virtual Scene Machine is going to take more than a shoe string budget. They do now offer payment plans at $175 per month.
Before investing in a Scene Machine why not shoot a few Baby Portrait Parties (http://www.momswithcamera.com) and use the profits from your first couple of shoots to pay cash for a new one.
