Some questions...
1. Does this law firm already have a website before you approached them?
2. I'm not following your sale price of $997 for 3 months. Why did you structure it like that?
3. So this law firm buys this website off of you...then what? How are they going to get actual traffic to it? You handling the SEO as well?
