YouTube does the same as Google - it draws the line wherever it's convenient for itself at the time.
And it changes the position of the line retrospectively so that what was acceptable may no longer be acceptable and what didn't result in a ban now does.
Best guess is that they're buying views which is something YouTube hate and will remove videos for.
