.... I know that, while it is still fresh in my mind, I should be putting pen to paper to write a report on the pleasures and frustrations of building a business; it's probably forming slowly in my subconscious but I haven't had sufficient of an !Aha! moment to believe that it would be worth reading. However, I promise that I will do it - even if it's basic and ornery :)
I came across a project today that shows to strength of networking - and I thought I'd share it with you (what on earth would I do without the BBC?).
Detroit Soup is a concept for crowd-funding dinners that has raised more than $100,000 (£63,900) for community projects in the Motor City. It has rapidly spread around the UK.
More than 100 people turned up to the first Sheffield Soup in July. "I had no idea that it would be this successful," says founder Pennie Raven
