Which reminds me...
Many years ago, I was talking with a friend of mine. He was wondering, why does Richard Branson still work? He thought, with all his billions of dollars, he should be living life on a beach somewhere, sipping pina coladas all day...
In fact, he was a bit angry, that Richard Branson had the audacity to keep working. "Doesn't he have enough money?" was his angry exclamation!
He thought, people only work for the money...
Just a quick, rant, off on a tangent... :)
Best wishes,
Dien
This is why the right mentor is important.
If the only mentors one has are people who see working for money as the goal of life, it's easy to resent people who clearly aren't playing by that script.
Now the biz-opp/pension copywriters certainly don't help with their persistent painting of the picture of the beach, idling away on the yacht, blissfully doing nothing.
But then again, the frequency of these ads suggests they must be attracting a certain demographic with that illusion
Maybe some people prefer comforting lies...
