Could someone, anyone, please check out paydotcom.com to see if it is UP?

Thanks.

I just started the affiliate program and I'm using www.paydotcom.com

It seems to have disappeared on my computer, how about yours? I need to know if I have a problem or they do...

may have to switch to clickbank or keep a simple PayPal affiliate program and limit the number.

Thanks for your help. I'll delete this post a little later today. GJA

Hi Gordon,

I just attempted to access paydotcom.com using IE, Firefox, and Opera.
It appears the site is currently Down...

Maybe they're just having some network errors or something.

They'll probably be back up shortly...

:)

Thanks for checking...I wonder how often this happens?

I appreciate you checking...and now I have to wonder if I made a mistake using them?

Anyone with paydotcom experience? Is this just a coincidence, or am I doomed at paydotcom?

Hi Gordon,

Good Question.

Sometimes (although EXTREMEMLY RARE) PayPal has experienced Difficulties (down time)
so there's No Guarantee that they'll be UP 100% of the time...

I just registered with PayDotCom.com, so I'm not too familiar with the site and their services, yet...

Hope This Helps...

Thanks.

Hi Gordon,

I was kinda Surprised when you chose www.paydotcom.com
from the list of affiliate software and other networks posted on SowPubs But I figured you just wanted to get down to some Quick and Easy business. :)

Even though www.paydotcom.com is part of the http://www.mikefilsaime.com/ company...

If you review their forum and support, unfortunately they get a Failing grade of unanswered questions, concerns of why posts sit for weeks/months waiting to get posting approval etc...

They started off with Big talk of being so much better than ClickBank but Under Deliver... in my opinion...

Here's another Option and addition to add to the Affiliate software/network list. ;)

Would I be better off for now to use PayPal and limit the number of affiliates.

I went with PayDotCom because I didn't and don't want a WHOLE bunch of affiliates...just a few. And I thought (duh) that this would be a better choice.

I need to move quickly, ads are in place and coming out soon. PHIL, which do you think is a better move?

Boy that's a Tough one...

I'm sure others would disagree with my comments and are ok with them but thought I should bring it up.

You may be better temporarily to use PayPal so you don't lose sales as they're still Down...

I posted a few more links in that post about https://www.saleflurry.com/

Business always has Tough decisions But most say the "New" Click Bank is here to stay and https://www.saleflurry.com/ looks like they have a good Future Too!

Gordon,

One more note...

You may want to contact "Skip" who uses a Split Payment type Affiliate system for his affiliates through Paypal...

It was discussed on SowPubs but the thread must still be in the old Archives that Dien is still working on...

Paydotcom has been verry slow many a times. This is the first time I've seen it go down completely... But I've been using it since just over 2 months now. Not sure how it used to do before that.

Gordon - if you are selling just 1 product - then go with clickbank. Clickbank doesn't make much sense only if you are going to sell multiple products through one website. But if its just a one product "mini" website - then clickbank is the best.
