Creating websites or apps with "no code" (i.e. no programming)...

This is just a "quickie" post...

I'm learning about the "no code" movement, which is about creating websites, creating apps, with no programming at all...

Is that even possible?

Why, yes, it is.

Anyway, I just found out about this pretty good website, which gives you an overview of what some of the services are out there which you can use if you want to create a website - including membership websites like Millard was asking about recently - or if you want to create an app which could be used on iPhone or on Android... These are services which help you to do it with no code at al (that is, no programming required).

I'm still learning, so I can't really tell you much about it, but... I'll share with you this great resource...

No Code MBA

What you can do is choose the kind of application you want to use it for - whether you want to create a website, or you want to create a mobile app, or you want to create a membership website, or an online course, or sell digital products, and so on...

So you click on one of those options (on the left)...

For example, here's the link if you want to create an ordinary website

https://www.nocode.mba/tools?category=website

Here's the link if you want to create a membership website...

https://www.nocode.mba/tools?category=membership

And you can explore the rest yourself...

They rank which services are easier to use ("Easy Learning Curve") and which are more difficult...

This is something I'm exploring myself, so I can't tell you much about it yet, but I think there are huge possibilities if you want to create quick websites or apps that have a lot of functionality!

Best wishes,

Dien

"No Code" free tutorials...

As I've mentioned earlier, I'm looking into the "No Code" approach to creating websites and apps...

The No Code approach means you don't do any programming, but... You can still create apps for your smartphone or create websites that are functional (such as membership websites, searchable databases, bookable calendars, and so on)...

I found a website that has a lot of interesting tutorials for free on using No Code to do various things. The website is called Makerpad...

They also have courses which you have to pay for or be a paying member to access. But the tutorials are free, and they look pretty good. They tend to be short video tutorials...

I thought I'd provide it here in case anyone is interested...

And even if no one's interested, I can come back to this page and look at it in the future at some point! :)

There are some interesting ones here... Including how to make your own Netflix clone, your own Facebook clone, your own Craigslist clone, and so on... All without any programming!

And (as mentioned before), you can also use No Code to build smartphone apps too...
