Hi Dien,
You are so right. On a couple other forums the subject of long vs. short ebooks has been discussed in depth and the general consesus is that short and action packed is where it's at.
If you're writing a "How-To" book on a particular niche subject, it should take you less than an hour to read it. Here's what I based my just released
"Down 'n Dirty Guide to Creating and Profiting from Your Own Info Products in 48 hours or less" on:
It should take you no more than 1 hour to explain the process to a friend. And no more than an hour for that friend to read and understand it in the ebook format.
Short, sweet, 15 - 50 pages, and intensly info-packed will be the format for my next few projects. That's why I've dubbed them "PowerGuides" ;-)
Anyway, can you imagine reading "War and Peace" on a computer screen? Or could you imagine printing it out?
Thanks for reinforcing the "Short and Sweet" point again Dien.
Respectfully,
Paul Short
