Default Odd profits from goat video calls...

Dot McCarthy runs a farm in Lancashire, in the northwest part of England. She took the farm over from her Mom five years ago...

The farm supplemented its income by hosting weddings and educational visits.

But with Covid, that income all disappeared...

To help make ends meet on the farm, Dot started shoveling and selling manure...

Then she hit on a "wild" idea... The idea of renting out goats for video calls!

The idea is that one of their goats could join your video meeting - with a little help in the background from the farm staff. (The goat joins the meeting by video too, and doesn't have to leave the farm.)

You can choose which of their goats (all with names and personalities) you want to join your video call!

They charge £5 (just under $7 US dollars) for each goat appearance on a video call... Some people voluntarily donate more than that...

But it's no laughing matter - as it's added up to £50,000 in income (around $68,000 US dollars) since Covid started!

Dot also says, it's easier and more fun than hauling manure!
