Default Re: The Top Ten "Geek" Business Myths

Thanks for Posting this Dien (and Thomas)

I found Myth #8 I need $5 million to start my business
particularly interesting considering that this gentleman is a Venture Capitalist.

In " a sense" he is selling into the "Myth #8" of his clients.

Unless of course he is stating that he ONLY funds Hardware startups which he feels need the funds. :->

I also agree with Myth #6: What you know matters more than who you know. I met some "successful" people, and quite frankly they are certainly not Smarter than the rest of us. However they do a wide network of resources AND they are UNAFRAID to 1) ASK for help and 2) IMPLEMENT the advice given.

Nevertheless, Imagine a world where none of these Myths were no longer an issue.

How many more businesses would be started ?
How many more Values would be added to society?
How many more lives would be change for the better?

Thanks again Dien. I just Printed that list off. It's a keeper

THANKS!

Anyway, some "myths" still exist - and many who are new in business believe in these various myths. Many of these business myths are still "out there" in the general community...

So this list of the "Top ten "geek" businses myths" is good to know about!

See what you think...!

Cheers,
