Default Zen Strategies, a good newsletter.

I subscribe to scores of newsletters, but honestly, I only read a few of them.

Sunday and Monday bring me, respectively, Ankesh Kothari of Zen Strategies,
https://zenstrategies.com/ and Mark Manson of https://markmanson.net/ which I read religiously upon arrival.

In today's Zen Strategies, Ankesh tells the story of the world's greatest football player and his ability to ANTICIPATE. You should read this one.

He writes about OBSERVATION, and it triggered a memory of something I wrote almost 30 years ago, and have talked about it here over the last 20 years...

it is TCA. TOTAL CONSCIOUS AWARENESS.

It is a state of observation, not unlike that of the football player, where you process information at lightening speed to ANTICIPATE the next move.

TCA has four parts.

Controlled OBSERVATION.
Correct INTERPRETATION.
Desired OUTCOME.
Meaningful ACTION.

It is possible to put yourself in a HIGH ALERT state of mind, where you can get the hidden cues of body language, talk, and even to the point of seemingly being able to read minds...once you are in this state, TCA.

I think modern society has covered up many of our natural, animal instincts and we have suppressed our innate ability to read the body language of others.

Most people don't make a conscious effort to OBSERVE. Or to interpret what they do observe.
